Military Standard Light Duty Universal Joints
Belden's Light-Duty Military-Standard joints are designed with blind bores, without boot covers. They are developed according to MIL-DTL-6193 & MS20270 specifications for dimensions, strength and other performance features. Mil-Spec joints are constructed with friction (plain) bearing design, with the exposed components (except rivets) protected by Cadmium plating.
Belden's Mil-Standard Universal Joints (MS20270- Light Duty and MS20271- Heavy Duty part families) are listed on the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Qualified Products List (QPL). Belden is one of the only global u-joint companies to quality for the QPL, which requires a rigorous initial qualification process, along with ongoing retention testing and audits by the DLA.
